Technology has been a very good tool for everybody but for everything good thing there is a bad. In the world today, young people are always on the computer when they could be outside playing. Being outside is a lot better then being inside but people are now preferring to stay in side on the computer for hours.
People are also finding the need not to have conversations face to face because it is so much easier to talk via the interent because it means that people won't have to deal with the possible akwardness that would occur face to face. This means that when people come into conversation with people in real life, they will not have the confidence or the experince to do so.
They will stay inside simply be to go on social networking sites for hours on end or to play games for hours on end. This could lead to eye problems and even brain problems.
The problem is that people are starting to rely on computers far to much and not all things on the Internet is true. This also raises another issue, the fact that we will not always know whether all the information is correct or not.
And the situation will only get worse as technology is becoming very good and people are being very imaginative. New things are going to be constantly meeting what people want.
So what will happen in the end???

Presentation Skills
Presentation skills are very important in the world today. People use them everyday, in work, at school and even talking to friends. Presentation skills can be as simple as using gestures to a large presentation.
So today, I am going to help you improve your presentation skills and change them to perfection.
Firstly, in a presentation, if it is all boring and simply plain text with no colours or pictures then no one is going to be interested and the a main factor of presentation skills is to keep your audience interested and informed. So, simply add a couple of pictures to your PowerPoint, don't go crazy! Also, don't forget colours, bright colours, for example yellow. Yellow is a nice, happy, exciting colour that will interest all audiences.
Secondly, don't read directly from a sheet of paper or from the board. You need to engage your audience and make them feel like you are talking directly to them. So have a couple of pointers on the board that you can read and then expand from.
Another good point is enthusiasm. If you are boring the whole way through your presentation then your audience will lose focus and not listen to what you are saying and you don't want that. So be enthusiastic and cheerful, this will make your audience interested.
Eye contact will mean that your audience will feel like you are talking directly to them. This is another way to make them feel involved and will keep them interested in your presentation.
Asking questions will implicate that you are interested in what they think, again this will keep them interested and also involved.
Hand gestures will show that you mean what you say and also that you are interested in what you are presenting. This will make your audience happy that you are interested in what they are interested in because they will think that you have something in common.
Speaking clearly and loudly is a good presentation skill becuase this simply means that everyone will be able to hear you.
Lastly, always have a smile because this means that you apper warm and calm, which will make the presentation a all round good one.
So thats it, follow all these steps and you will have a really good presentation. I will leave a video that will act as extra help.

Balanced Diet
Hello, my name is Jan Parker and I am a diet planner. Today I will talk about having a balanced diet. To obtain a balanced diet, you need to plan it and not shove all the food categories in at the same time of day for example you ate a piece of fruit in the morning but then at ten o'clock at night eating the other four, it's is best to create a organised plan.
Red meat, Sweets, Eggs, Poultry and fish are the foods in which you should eat a few times per month because to much of it can be bad for your body but also because they contain a lot of fat. This doesn't mean that you don't eat them at all, you need to, just not as much.
Cheese and Yogurt, Olive oil, Beans and nuts are foods which can be eaten daily and they all of them make good snacks. You should eat five pieces of fruit and vegetables a day because they are good for you and help your body fight of germs.
And Bread, Rice and other grains and Potatoes should be eating regularly during the day.
When following this guide you will have a healthy balanced diet and will be stronger as a person. Use the picture above for more help on having a balanced diet.
Also, try getting the family involved, making the process more exciting and comfortable. Having support during diets and other body changes is the key to success but self motivation is what keeps you going. Keep this in mind and you cannot fail. I wish you good luck.

Diet Planner
Hello, my name is Jan Parker and I am a diet planner. I help normal, everyday people like you make there diet better and healthy. The issue with my job is that some people are scared and/or worried about seeing the doctor. Firstly, I am here to help you and I cannot do that unless you come and see me. Secondly, I have trained for five years and I am a professional so I know what I am talking about.
I will now talk about the process of the diet plan.
The first step is for you to tell me what your favorite foods are so that we can help you decide what foods you will keep in order for you to not have to start a completely different life.
The second step is for you to out line what you eat daily, falling into the categories of:
-Breakfast
-Lunch
-Dinner
-Snacks
When that process is done, we proceed to the third step, which is for you to name and put in the food you want in your diet.
The process is based strictly around you and you will make the changes not me so I will help you find what is comfortable for your self.
The point of a diet is to have a personal goal, to be able to motivate your self and to enjoy doing it.
If after this you still feel uncomfortable about coming to see me, use this website and sign up to the free online diet, this way you want need to speak to anyone in person about your issues, meaning that you won't feel uncomfortable. http://www.sparkpeople.com/landing_free_facebook2.asp?gclid=CM7wwJfbyKYCFcUOfAodaVn7Mw

PE Madness: No more!
Hey, Its me again, Poppy Spike. Last time I told you how my diet plan started and now I'm in week five of the diet and I'm feeling great! Everyone in my PE class keeps telling me that I'm looking great, even the boys ;)
The family party went amazingly and I really enjoyed it. To start with I was very embarrassed, remembering every other family party I had ever been to but I had to be strong and motivated! My body had changed and so had I!
After the party, my confidence was soaring and it made me want to carry on the diet. Not only have I been dieting but I have also been getting involved in sports at school. Doing sport at school is good and important because you get involved in new fun activities and along the way you meet new people and friends to boast your social skills.
Now that I'm comfortable with my body, I feel ready to exercise in front of people which makes will make my confidence soar.
To be honest, the diets actually not bad, I experimented a lot meaning that I could pick my favorite foods and put them in, which is a good idea because it encourages you and makes you want to carry on.
Also, after getting into the loop of continuously eating the right food it makes it a lot easier to carry on with the diet because you get used to that way of living. And its the same as sport and exercises. So try that out.
My dieting and my sport was so effective , I got Niki involved and now she's doing all the diets and what not. She saw my results and had a go at it her self and said that she will never go back.
I know that it is hard and I remember starting of as well but when having the support of other people around you and wanting to go ahead and do it, helps. There is no point in doing the dieting unless you are willing to give something up, for instance, time in the morning to make your self a good healthy breakfast; running instead of watching Eastenders or even your favourite sweet. It will be hard but when you start to feel results you will be grateful and will understand.
Here's a website that might help you along the way.

PE Madness
Hiya, My name is Poppy Spike and I absolutely love my food and eat a lot of it!!! I know its bad but I just can't help it! I get really embarrassed on PE days as well, you know, the getting changed in front of people and stuff. I'm starting to get changed in the toilets!
My best friend, Niki, started noticing so spoke to my Mum about it and to start with I was so angry at her but when I spoke to my Mum, I realised that Niki was just worried. Mum explained that I'm not the only person in with my problem, that many girls and boys my age feel the same way. Mum used to have the same issue, she said that she constantly had different excuses for PE and never done anything that may attract attention. And guys go threw the same issue and it effects them in exactly the same way (which is strange because I didn't think it would). To be totally honest, telling your Mum isn't scary at all, I think its the best way because now that she knows I feel a whole lot safer and not so alone.
So me and my Mum decided that we would get fit together and started a diet plan. Having support from my Mum there makes me feel a lot better about my self and if you have the same issues you shouold really tell your mum.
Both me and Mum are going to a family party soon and I will no longer have to wear jeans because hopefully I will feel happy about my body. I plan to wear a dress and I am very excited to see what everyone thinks. Hopefully all goes well :) wish me luck :D

The Gym Of Terror
Hi, my name is Janice Walker and I was thinking... there are many ways to be unhealthy. And me... I follow all those ways. I'm starting to wonder though whether I should change? Thing is, I don't want the whole medieval torture of not eating for days on end or starving my self to death. I enjoy food and want to carry on enjoying it. So I guess the only way is to the gym... unfortunately :S
I personally have never enjoyed exercise and really hate the attention that you get but that seems like the only way. So I went to the gym and talked to my teacher and I explained that I do like some fizzy drinks and takeaways...more than I actually should.
She explained that I should perhaps start slowly on running machines then over to the bikes doing thirty minutes each. Trust me, the way she said it made it sound incredibly easy. It wasn't.
It made me realise how out of shape I actually was!!! Also, sitting next to pros is not a good idea because they look at you and make you feel very uncomfortable, that's how I felt. But I guess you have to stick with it. I must say over the last week I have seen a MEGA improvement. I can happily say that I am now on the road to recovery and I'm starting to enjoy it all.
I highly recommend starting on this routine, even if its simply by starting with a hour a day and then maybe push it up to a hour and a half. Trust me, you will get amazing results and after a while start to enjoy it all. The rewards are amazing. You will be pleased ;)
